Scam Warning

YSAT has received several reports of scams fraudulently trying using our name to exploit communities. These fraudulent correspondences carry YSAT’s identity (name and logo) and appear to be authorized communications from YSAT. Considering these incidents, YSAT encourages all people we serve to exercise vigilance when interacting with any third party either by email, internet, telephone, or messaging platforms.

Fraudulent third parties claiming to represent YSAT may attempt to gain your private information including attempts to exploit you financially.

Recent example OF A SCAM!!

Skills Training in Oyam District: An online advert is placed to recruit Youth for vocational skills training for YSAT. Youths were asked to pay registration fee in order to be onboarded into the program. No Program of this nature, its SCAM!

These are scams or phishing attempts. They are not genuine. YSAT does not ask any potential employees or Project participants to pay any fee before being offered a job or enrolled in any of our programs. If any person receives any such communication offering a job or interview calls in the names of YSAT against any form of payment or otherwise, please ignore them and report to us immediately via complaintsfeedback@youthsat.org or Telephone +256776443727 | +211920581200

Though we take appropriate legal actions against such fraudulent persons, your safety is important, YSAT and its partners shall not be responsible for any loss that may be related to any member of the public on their dealings with such fraudulent persons
