| Youth Social Advocacy Team (YSAT) is a refugee-led non-profit, non-governmental Organization whose core mandate is supporting conflict affected youth by tackling access barriers to quality education, sustainable Livelihoods and addressing root causes of violent conflicts for refugees and vulnerable host communities in Uganda. YSAT is legally registered with the National Bureau for Non -Governmental Organizations Reg. REGR152704213NB as a Regional NGO to operate in Uganda’s refugee hosting districts in West Nile, South West & Urban Kampala. | PROGRAMME BACKGROUND. YSAT received funding from DANIDA to implement a multiyear program, titled “Uganda Refugee Resilience Initiative (URRI)” in a consortium led by Save the Children (SC) together with AVSI, World Vision, UGANET, KRC, and RIL. The program goal is to ‘contribute to enhanced climate resilience of women, men, and youth in refugee and host communities and promote inclusive, cohesive, and environmentally sustainable development in refugee-affected areas in line with local priorities. The program is being implemented in Adjumani District (Lot 3) using multiple approaches, including the Graduation Approach- a proven model to alleviate extreme poverty. Purpose of the position: YSAT is seeking to recruit suitably qualified personnel for the position of Coach, to contribute to the implementation of the Graduation approach Component of the URRI project targeting refugees and host populations in Adjumani district. Reporting to the Project Officer, the successful candidates will be based in the sub-county/settlement of Adjumani district. |
